WHAT I DO
The transformation to veganism is often an incredibly profound, life-changing experience and not long after I became vegan, I realised that I owed it to the animals that had previously been murdered on my behalf to devote my life to animal rights.
My online activism involves creating educational content including street conversations, where I focus on talking to the public about the morality of eating animals in order to encourage positive discussion and debate. I also focus a large amount of my time on helping transitioning vegans as well as coaching new activists from around the world.
I am also the co-founder and co-director of Surge, a creative grassroots animal rights organisation that creates well-orchestrated demonstrations, outreach events, films and campaigns with a focus on positive community building. In 2016 we started the annual Official Animal Rights March and in 2017 we released the documentary Land of Hope and Glory and launched The Big Vegan Activism Van. I am also a Save Movement organiser.
I am currently travelling across the UK in the The Big Vegan Activism Van, doing full days of on-campus virtual reality outreach as well as giving speeches and screening Land of Hope and Glory to university students, whilst also supporting local activism and attending Save Movement vigils.
